Protective Services Investigator

Qualifications:

Minimum of a BA/BS in human services field. Assessment and crisis intervention skills required. Prior experience working with the elderly preferred. Must possess a working knowledge of Microsoft applications. Reliable vehicle and valid PA driver’s license including valid auto insurance needed. Clear criminal background check required. E.O.E

Responsibilities:

The Agency is a subcontractor for the Allegheny County Area Agency on Aging. Responsibilities include performing invest- igations and interventions in cases of abuse, neglect and/or exploitation of the elderly. Must be able to accurately assess needs, secure the necessary resources and develop care plans that removes the elderly from further harm or risk.

Salary:

Mid-$20K’s/yr plus incentives and benefits (salary is commensurate with applicable & verifiable experience)

Working Conditions:

Travel is required throughout the service area. The position requires visits to various settings in the community often under less than desirable conditions.
